Producer Note
The confidence we have in a supplier of 20 years’ standing is mirrored by our customers; you can be sure these wines will not let you down. Made at Yenda, in the heart of Australia’s Riverland, at Bob Berton’s state-of-the-art winery, using grapes from trusted and skilful growers
Vineyard
Sourced from vineyards throughout the Riverina region. The vine age is varied, but all vines have been spur pruned and are generally trained on a single wire cordon trellising system. The vines are planted at approximately 1.8 metres apart with 3.6 metres between the rows, to allow machinery access. The soil styles in the vineyards are varied, with each terroir adding its own characteristic to the final wine.
Winemaking
The grapes were cold fermented in stainless steel to retain the fruity aromatics. A portion was fermented on oak with the lees to add complexity and texture.
Tasting Note
A delicate blend of herbaceous Semillon and exotic tropical Chardonnay fruit characters with subtle oak complexity balanced by a crisp, fresh finish.
Grape
Semillon 70%, Chardonnay 30%
