March 2018 Wine Club

Our Premier Club Mixed Case this month brings the return of one of our favourite Chenin Blancs from France. La Lisse Soie d’Ivoire Chenin Blanc from Languedoc, France brings to the table a complex wine with great texture and character. The other wines in this case bring together a picture of some of the great styles from some of the best producers around the world.

The case contains each of the following specially selected wines:

‘The Charge’ Tempranillo, Garnacha Rioja

Hand-selected Rioja from the La Bascula winemaking team of Bruce Jack and Ed Adams MW. 2014 vintage – Gold Winner from the Sommelier Wine Awards 2017

Araldica Barbera d’Asti ‘Ceppi Storici’

Sourced from over 40 year old vines, this Barbera shows concentrated fruit – balanced by pepper and spice. 2015 vintage – Catavinum 2017 Gold Winner

Amauta Absoluto Malbec

Inky black and incredibly pure, this is a teeth-stainer to really savour!

La Lisse Soie d’Ivoire Chenin Blanc

Peacock Wild Ferment Chardonnay

Strutting its stuff elegantly.

Vila Nova Vinho Verde

An aromatic wine, full of ripe fruit and with great acidity.
